Dr. David B. Fishkin, D.C., MPH
I live in Maryland with my beautiful family, and have an office in Rockville MD, but I’m a native New Yorker. I obtained a bachelor’s degree from State University of New York (SUNY) Stonybrook and a Doctor of Chiropractic from the New York Chiropractic College. In 2008 I completed a master’s in Public Health at the George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services.
Come into my office, ease down into a chair, and say to me, ‘I hurt’, and I’ll know how you feel. I struggled with lower back pain from the age of 13.
Healing another person requires knowledge and practice, creativity, and mental and physical energy.
This is why I invest the time in listening to people and asking questions.
Why I often test a treatment on myself before I’m satisfied that it will help my patients.
Why I work with other healthcare providers; sometimes two heads are better than one, and in my patients’ best interests.
And why I founded and continue to develop the Fishkin Center.
I’ve observed that people often suffer from either too little help or the wrong type of help. I employ a variety of traditional and cutting edge techniques to give each patient the best choices and combination of care to achieve a better outcome. I pay close attention to your beliefs and preferences in balancing treatment options to help you achieve your goal.
The fact that you’re here means you are probably hurting, seeking relief and answers. It is my mission to help you whether that means treating you, referring you or just listening to you.
